PAAVS - What is PAAVS? Back To Previous Page

What is PAAVS?
PAAVS (Partnership for Access to Accreditation for the Voluntary and community Sector) increases the opportunities available to VCS organisations for delivering NOCN accredited courses, whether they wish to be their own PAAVS Centre or whether they wish to be a delivery partner working through another PAAVS Centre. PAAVS has produced resources and procedures which enable organisations to quickly and more easily ensure quality of accredited learning.

Resources provided are the PAAVS Centre Pack (supporting organisations in becoming a centre for NOCN accredited learning provision and in offering this opportunity to partner organisations), the PAAVS Resource Pack (supporting organisations wishing to deliver accredited learning through another PAAVS Centre) and the PAAVS Internal Moderator Pack (providing in-depth support to PAAVS internal moderators).

All the packs are laid out with simple step-by-step processes, with the reader being referred to the appropriate sections depending upon where in the process the organisation is (e.g. course preparation, portfolio compilation, assessment, internal moderation, registration). Organisations have found this easily accessible approach extremely useful, ensuring quality provision of accredited learning is a quick, attainable and hassle-free process!

Please see our PAAVS Leaflet for a broad overview of the processes and for some brief testimonials.
