COMMUNITY MAKERS - is the next step for learners who have participated in the informal learning activities that are part of our 'Making a Difference' and 'Community Learning' workshops.
Applications are also welcome from anyone who wants to develop skills and become involved in activities that make a difference to their neighbourhood.

At this level learners gain a basic understanding of local communities, decision making processes and the impact that involvement can have on personal development and community life.

At this level learners build frameworks for setting up community groups, projects and activities. The units identify the tasks and skills required and will enable learners to take a practical and active role in their local community.

At this level learners research and work at a professional level and gain knowledge and skills that could lead to Community Development and Training as a specialised area of employment.
